The name of a motorcycle officer who died in an accident while escorting a funeral is expected to be released today.
Police say the officer lost control of his motorcycle and crashed while he was escorting a funeral procession headed north on Indiana 67 in Morgan County. No word yet on why the officer lost control, but police said no other vehicle was involved.
